Manager and Assistant Manager
Lead the Hello World 2022 summer program as you inspire the next generation of coders. Applications close March 19th.
Who: Someone with coding and leadership skills who is dedicated to our mission and improving our programs.
When: The time commitment for the Manager and Assistant Manager of Hello World is around 3-5 hours a week during the school year and 10 hour a week during the summer, increasing to 15 hours a week during the weeks of the program.

Team Lead
We are currently looking for team leads for our software engineer team, website team, marketing team, and fundraising team.
Who: Someone with key organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Each team also comes with their own responsibilities and expected expectations.
When: The time commitment for the team lead positions is around 6-8 hours a week.

Standard Volunteer
Volunteer within the marketing, fundraising, software engineer, or website team!
Who: Anybody who wants to contribute to our mission and support our programs. With a wide range of responsibilities within BxB Central, we will have a task for you!
When: Unlike the programs, there is no set time and we are much more flexible with meetings and work.
Benefits: Join a community of supportive, dedicated volunteers while gaining invaluable experience in whichever team you decide to join and collaborate with others on long-term projects!

Standard Volunteer
Form and Function, an online afterschool program that teaches middle schoolers how to code an interactive website in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Bit by bit, students will learn to code!
Who: You! We’re looking for volunteers who know the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A little programming experience is required but we are happy to teach more! We provide free training for coding instructors. Volunteers teach curriculum and have fun!
When: There are three sessions for Form and Function: Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30pm PT, Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30pm PT, and Fridays from 4:30 to 5:30pm PT. Volunteer for all three days or only one. Either way we would love to have you! Form and Function will run from the week of the 3rd of October through the week of the 22nd of May. Volunteers will have mandatory training sessions weekly.
